Yeah, not gonna lie, this was not sitting well with me. I just could not justify the violant and controlling behaviour as a form of race. The poor boy was traumatised from the get go and left carrying the whole burden of his family in silence, and living in absolute fear of Kangwoo the whole time. It is not love or romantic. I found it all appalling and really uncomfortable to read at times. And that brother got off way too lightly as well.
