Okay, the story is great and all but the rape thing really ruined EVERYTHING for me. It was totally unecessary in the story like he could have gotten really angry at Akira and they could have had a fight, he even could have punched Akira and all the drama saying things like "you don't know anything, you don't know what happened" but noooooo let's make the guy a totally insane one and let's make Akira an even more insane person. It's such a waste because I liked the end but it is a big NO and fuck both of those damn crazy idiots, what the heck

Akira reveals to everyone in a talk show that Sunaga is the one who wrote their song and that he was in a famous rock band in the past, Sunaga does not like it so he breaks in Akira's house and rape him continuosly for days as a form of revenge. Later, the media finds out about how one of the members died and they start spreading rumours that Sunaga was the cause and etc. Sunaga disappears but Akira is in love with him and wants him back. He helps Sunaga reunite with his former band members and their group makes a comeback and they end happily ever after despite everything.
It has been a while since I read it so I can't tell details but that's basically it. What made me angry was the rape thing, because Sunaga could have beaten Akira up for exposing his past without considerations but yeah no, rape it is.
Why does this remind me of Gravitation so much? (〜￣△￣)〜 I'm not saying it's bad, it's actually quite interesting but the plot is waaay to similar. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Suppressing a greater talent is a dream for all artists. We agree that all artists have their own individual style, but all of them share the goal of being the No.1 talent and take the spotlight without sharing it with anybody else.
In this manga, we see an artist who is intrigued and annoyed with an artist who is wasting his talents because he wants to please the audience. He is infuriated with a great talent being neglected. He aims for that artists to come out of the shadow he was living under so that he would crush him in the end.
As a tale, it is great that we see a new struggle rather than usual Yaoi stories. An artist desire to dominate! The events are gradually paced with no rush! Another normal factor in Yaoi is somebody getting raped and the ultimate forgiveness by the rape victim. I wish for it to be stronger in terms of reaction. As a man who is cunning, Akira should be stronger with his emotions. Why didn't he refuse him? Why end with them being together?
