I cried so much on this manga Definitely the most emotional manga I have read

CH 34 A bit confusing Syas ending - remember the part where he mentioned the old man who was dying and could not send the letter. Well he granted his wish and got his life which he gave to the child which in tern sealed the adult he turned into allowing the child to grow up naturally, and of course because he is now a real boy he will grow and change ands one which is why he lashed out at Sya in the garden. Though the adult he use to change into is sealed away he can still see everything that is happening and because sya did not choose him the deal he made with the angels became null, he can neither be reborn or return to sya because Saya has sealed him. Jya ending- jya gave half his life to the angel to save his life and now he is basically in the same situation as sya at the beginning of the story but he is less reserved so he will feed. But he must feed enough for both himself and the angel as the angel because he was saved by jya he will now have to feed as demons do to survive. Jya told him he will allow him yo feed from others if he wish but it will be completely his choice and he won't be forced. But jya refuses to let the angel go or die and he has told him such. He also asks him to control his envy of him having sex with others because it is only to feed and nothing more. Oh and the reason jya tore the wing was to keep the angel there but I believe he ate it in the end to help save the angel. All in all a tragic story of two brothers Fuck u jya u let my poor angel be raped

Ch10 Haven't read chapter 5 and ch8

In my opinion while the ending seems something nice, in reality it is pretty cruel. Kouki doesn't really get his wish - he gives up his wings for Eiji's life -, he only gets Eiji's reincarnation, as a human baby. And no matter what anyone says that's not really Eiji, it's a new person with a brand new start. So there is Kouki, not really a human, not really an angel -but still with an awfully long lifespan- having to watchover human "Eiji" and hoping that he will also maybe fall in love with him. Yes, I know they got together in the end, but there was no guarantee for that and someday "Eiji" will grow old and die. So Kouki will get to watch his beloved die twice, then spend his remaining days -however long may those be- alone. Essentially he is being punished for falling in love.
