Iki wo Suru yori Kiss ga Shitai
8.1? I wonder why. The synopsis seems telling a nice power struggling uke and a puppy-like-arrogant seme. It seems their dynamics would be rather cute and sultry. (2) Waaah, that was so good. From careless, reckless meetings to patiently, matured relationship... That was so good. I saw how they stumble on how they will approach each other and close the gap of hate line to a loving mature person they have become. That was so lovely, especially on how Akira resolved and accepted what's happening and what's changing between them; on how Akira carefully comforted Kaito when his grandma died. Kaito was so fragile then yet Akira was so brave on putting all his fears behind and make sure Kaito will never feel alone and abandoned... They have become so mature, they grow together, their character development's so visible it's aching to end it like this. You know what's also the good part?? It's the fact that this story didn't rely souch on the sexual relationship, making the story a lot deeper and dramatic. Plus, that vibe between them, that they were lovers and yet they were also the closest Friend of each other. I like that part when Kaito confesses his love to Akira, his gesture was so gentle and sweet... Really, nothings beats a hand that's full of gentleness and love. That hand claps' one the best too!!! They showed intimacy in the most simplest ways. (So I was thinking, maybe the low rating could be from the poor translations of some dialogues, trust me, I quite got dizzy with it too, but good thing, some translations were good so yeah, I enjoyed this a lot.) And oh, the power struggle of uke was true and yet, the puppy -like wasn't coz Kaito definitely was stubborn yet sweet but never use the puppyness to get what he wants so yeah
Pride ni Kiss
