I'm the Ex-Girlfriend of a Soldier

This manhwa is a good light read, but I don't recommend thinking too hard about everything unless you want to feel disappointed. (Btw if you don't want to get mildly spoiled don't look). For starters, it's clear that the manhwa itself is beautiful, and for that, it is 10/10 in my opinion. The lines are clear and it's obvious that the person drawing the manhwa is very talented and put a lot of effort into how it should look. But when I started to look at the story, it felt unfinished. Many things I thought about were the characters' relationships and their story, take Lilith for example, many things could have been expanded on, like for example: 'Why did the three sisters choose her?' 'What made her agree, apparently, multiple times?' 'I wish that Yoo Soo-Ah stayed in Lilith's body for more time' etc etc... The people who I wished would have built their relationship closer to the story are including but not limited to Lilith, Hailey, Marygold, Crusio, Sister Clotho and Sister Lachesis, Jeffery, and Sir Sario. (I had to add some of their titles since the Wiki isn't completed at this moment in time). I think this is very common with writers (myself included) to lose motivation for a project for one reason or another, but you try and try to make yourself motivated, but you know, it doesn't work like that. So with all this in mind, I think it's kind of safe to say I believe that this deserves at least 3/5, I would do 3.5/5 if I could, but I don't think this is how it works on here. The first part of the story for me is 8/10 mainly for how the art style and the idea of this hooked me, but also because you can see that the writer is thinking ahead for quite a bit. But around the third part of the story, it starts to become more and more clear that the writer doesn't have a lot of motivation, which to be honest, is quite sad to see but nearly all the time this happens to a writer when they can't see where it's going or they cant remind themselves of why they're doing this. Anyway, finally verdict? Read this for a light read, nothing more nothing less, it's mainly best for being relaxing or at least calming.

This feels incomplete, at least in my eyes. There is so much that was left unanswered that leads me to suspect that this is part of a bigger series, even though I can't seem to find the other stories connecting this one. Started off good, but the characters felt a bit one-dimensional. I wished it was a bit more like the light novel and anime 'Overlord', or at the very least, gave us a new perspective or something new in general. I didn't like how everyone seemed to be just really evil in this new world, and mainly the humans. I get that were evil in some aspects, especially in the olden days, but still, I wished that we could've had at least one good human, someone we sympathised with and felt a loss with once they died. Overall, it was a little disappointing but I understand that many of these writers and artists are rushed into forced endings and unsatisfying conclusions. But still, it made me feel nothing once everyone had died, even when the queen was injured, which is a big failure in my book since I should have at least some feelings towards someone being hurt or a whole nation being destroyed, whether it be glee, anger, sadness, or whatever, I should feel something.
