This whole thing feels like a fever dream, nothing in this makes sense and/or the plot is all over the place.
For one, the art is quite inconsistent when it comes to the background, as well as the props in the background don't always make sense, I have seen multiple times that they use stickers for the plushes for the background as well, which would be fine if it wasn't for the completely different art style making it blatantly obvious that its a sticker.
Another thing with the art is that the main character, Chelianne, seems to change in appearance in nearly every chapter, mainly focusing on the ageing and de-ageing of the character, sometimes she looks like a toddler and sometimes she looks like a teen, it's very confusing and annoying to notice it every time.
The next thing that made me dislike the story was the storyline, the plot is all over the place and it seems as though the author is going at it in real time and not planning it out beforehand. For example, it seems as though they can't decide on what type of personality they want to give Chelianne, whether it be childish, brave or self-preservative, sometimes I see her acting like a kid, all happy and stuff even though she is kept in this unfamiliar land far away from her family, and being forced to be adopted by this man which she doesn't like one bit. Its all just giving me whiplash.
And to be honest, the plot speed itself is inconsistent, I've seen people also complain about this as well, I do understand that some mangas and manhwas do this for world-building but I have yet to see any good world-building in this.
All in all, this is a 1/10, I really don't recommend this to anyone, the cover art isn't what we are presented in the manhua itself and it just feels rushed and ill-done. There are more things I would go on about but since I am dropping this at chapter 31 I feel as though it would be a waste to just keep on talking about it.
