im literally crying rn i cant do this i actually loved the ending, and im happy for him but whyyyyyyyyy it hurts so much i swear to fucking god that whole proposal made me bawl like a bitch. i fucking hate reading about promises and shit in a sad story and anticipating they wont keep it, hoping it did. so gut wrenching. plus that little flashback of the the little girls' past just literally felt like a stake aimed at the heart. beautiful story. need a spin off of a happy ending w the girl in it right now pls
