Also the way you treated her, who with self respect accept your money, you only giving it to her cause you don't want it to weight on conscious. -Emperor then wipe out all the corrupt nobles including FL's family. FL found out she is pregnant and moves in with her relative who is not wealthy. She hides her baby cause if the emperor found out the baby will either die or in future will have a status of illegitimate child if emperor brought in another empress and had child with her. This put her on deep depression and she keeps in hiding for 6 years. -During these 6 years, the emperor has completely forgotten about her existance, he doesn't love her at all, doesn't think about her at all. There is no misunderstanding here, this guy hates her for no reason. He only finds her cause of his grandma's will. Grandma in her will said that only read it in presence of previous empress. This shit still read it anyway but to make a public display, he seeks out FL and the audacity of this guy when he sees FL in shabby clothes and ruined place he is like 'Oh why is she like this.' Anyway, FL use some medicine on her son so his eye color change and emperor doesn't find out about him. Also let me tell you FL extremely scared for her son's life when she found out emperor is seeking her out. ------------------------- Of course he is the ML, so author does this shit, they spent a short journey from her place to imperial palace and during this time he falls for her. Yeah, like he didn't for 10 years but he does in this journey cause she is not noble now and is bold woman. Bitch, who made her non noble in the first place. The author try to show that he is kind to son and try to use the kid to make us forget his sin. But it doesn't work out at least for me. -Anyway, back to palace, during a party people make fun of FL about her child and emperor step in to propose marriage to FL which she angrily refuses and says now she wants to go back to her home. And this piece of shit puts her under house arrest so she can't leave at all. She tries to runaway but gets caught by her father and father discover's the son's identity. -The secret is out so FL marries ML for safety. ML is elated but has nerve to be angry on her cause she hid her son from him. Also, she had no choice because of emperor's selfish decision to lock her up. More shit happens, author show us ML regrets and of course author has to poison emperor to make him forgivable. After this happy ending.
