Butterflies don't dance near poisonous flowers
Not into S M storylines because I just can’t get the appeal. I hate violence and especially domestic abuse so much. But the good ones are associated with tragedy and drama which I eat right up. So the rating was more ‘I read this’ rather than actual review. But this led me to Camellia which is beautifully tragic.
Body Complex
I never liked it. They were all shitty characters. Beautifully drawn uke though.
Hogu Hagyeongsu
I don’t support or promote the toxicity but this story... uh. I love the art style even though it’s wicked rough. The artist tends to favour more muscled ukes which I enjoy. Yeah I didn’t expect the ending where he chose the abuser and the whole ride is painful but I just can’t.
Sabita Yoru Demo Koi Wa Sasayaku
This is Hayashidas ex Yumi as he deals with physical abuse. Pretty good.
Doronuma
Ukes bf gets married on his birthday then tries to casually continue the relationship. Uke finally runs off and is pursued by bar owner. They start dating before ex worms in and forcefully takes uke back. But he’s become twisted and uke no longer loves him so he becomes abusive. Ends well and tied up nicely. The weight of emotions was projected beautifully. Also that midway extra was stupid but good.
Even If You Don't Love Me
Honestly I’m over the uke. He’s really swimming in his own misery. Update: Just keep swimming, ♂️. Min Jiwook can suck a fat one he ruined it all. Update: Why is it Seungies fault? Pride got ya looking foolish now. He’s always been an asshole but now he has to be a rapist too. If bitterness was a colour… Update: FINALLY!! On god, this convo was needed. Sep23: …*enters DENTIST… Aug24: *exhales. Good. All is well. I regret none of my comments over the years.
