basically the emperor died i forgot how and his brother forcefully took the throne cuz he a greedy hoe and casted the crown prince to the northern palace and whips him every month.
doha (crown prince) pretended to be a servant for the FL who’s father got on the bad side of the current emperor cuz he was the one who spoke up against the current emperor becoming the emperor cuz he was the crown prince’s tutor.
FL saved doha one day during winter and he became her servant ever since ig.
doha brough FL to his northern palace and revealed his identity to which the FL was more concerned of the scars on his back than the fact that he was deceiving her this whole time. now she is living with him in his palace.
doha’s aid (assistant ig yk) wants doha to become emperor and so does FL’s father (was doha’s teacher/tutor). however doha doesn’t want to rn simply because FL is afraid of gaining power cuz she thinks everyone will hate her even more than they already do.
