after reading this when i’m older, well the art is peak. the storyline and the magic stuff is peak but not rlly feeling it for the romance. lucas is hot and omnipotent yh but he’s got no empathy and low-key manaist (imagine classist but for magic instead). like yeah he helped athy the most as it was within his capabilities. ezekiel is sm better. bro. like he’s teasing sarcastic flirty playful but overall so nice in general i luv him sm. take away magic capabilities and see who’s better. felix is also a W character but yk not much is written abt him but i do like him.

OH MY FUCKING GOD THAT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD HOW DID I MOT DISCOVER THIS EARLIER? when I was reading this, I hated jung hye, but then I read her backstory, and I was sobbing. then I was like “I hate her sister, her husband and her mum!” but then after reading the sister’s backstory, reading about how her husband acc loved her, I can’t help but feel sympathy for them. I still hate her mum tho lol. Oh and, I hated soonie after I saw how she ignored jung hye when she was pushed by her sister. But then I realised she had a valid reason, cuz yk, jung h was the cause of the orchards being destroyed. I fucking hate perspective. It’s ironic how jung Hye’s like “I don’t wanna be old! I’d rather die!” when I’m like “I’d much rather be a retired granny and relax until I die” maybe being young has its perks. I shouldn’t take it for granted. Maybe I’m looking too deep into this. THAT ENDING WAS SO GOOD AS WELL, AND SO TEAR JERKING AND SO SATISFYING. I hate things that have an ending. I don’t want things to end. maybe I should go watch one piece. I haven’t felt like this since I’ve watched my first romance anime, which was maid sama, when i was 11 lool. I understood Jung hye at first, but she was lowkey annoying at the later chapters, obsessed with valor and for what? I wish the author specified the reason why she was so obsessed w him. edit 2025: jesus, half way through reading this, the real villains are ml’s grandfather and soonie (ml’s sister). i really hate soonies personality always has to make up lies which manipulates orher people to have hidden resentment towards others which causes them to act out. and ghe grandfather was so against junghye js because she was illegitimate who tfff cares like i understand they have a traditional mindset but why try prevent ml and junghye from being together?? kinda far for her to have her husband destroy the place they live in doe wowww, i really like junghye and her sisters dynamics, both in love with people who don’t love them back, want revenge for their dead mothers. difference is, junghyes sister enacted her revenge and still isn’t happy, same for junghye when she’s acting crazy trying to get revenge she just isn’t happy. red hsirs a pedo, bros lusting over a 17 yr old whrj she’s 17. also they literally just went back to the past instead of saying wgsgg tv happened with soonie and the sisters like lazy writing
