eread: hm i reread this bc i was confused why i rated this 4 stars the first time and i was still confused why i hadn't rated it 5 stars till i finished, i think I'm being quite hard on this story bc it def deserves 5 stars but a strong critique i have of this is the ending, it felt too sappy to me compared to the earlier dialogues, it almost felt like it became a diff genre for me in that sense, I also wished they addressed the age gap more because professor x teacher can always go wrong there. I am like nit picking tho bc overall ugh this was a rly good read and tbh i'm not changing the rating bc i wanna stay honest to my original reaction when i first read this a year ago. You can definitely agrue the transition from the whole drama -> romance was there, there was a transition, but it almost felt unnatural, the way he just accepted the younger brother, I feel like showing more guilt there due to age gap + him being his ex's brother would have done well, brother complex also almost dissipated too much, considering he lived his childhood and grew up w those ideas I would have wanted it to be more prevalent even if they were in a relationship, the jealousy at the end wasn't any different to jealousy that would have been form a possessive lover, I wanted his brother complex to show up more simply bc it's not relaisitc for his mindset to just change so quickly, it'd take healing

this is rly cute, at first i thought this would end up being bad bc i thought the sex scenes were awkwardly thrown in but it's growing on me a lot as a story + older uke omnom, edit: ykw hell yh the smut ended up fitting into the story better tho I do still wish SMT they like were lovey dovey nstead of having sex but the plot and build up of this story is nice

it's just not really on the same level as my other 4 star reads, but it's a good 3 star read. pushy seme never goes hard for me tho and they srsly ukeified the older guy. they were rly cute tho!

bit weird that he got catfished, but it's really sweet how genuine he felt that he still said yes, the translations hard to follow so it definitely ruined the reading experience for me tho a bit so it's 3 stars

I FUCKING LOVE THIS AUTHOR SHE JUST WRITES DIALOGUE IN SUCH A BLUNT YET NATURAL MANNER, THE DIALOGUE JUST FEELS BOLD AND HONEST IN SUCH A REALISTIC YET NOT FORCED MANNER, SO MUCH TENSION CNA BE BUILT IN SUCH FEW WORDS AND IT'S NOT EVEN LIKE HER ART'S EXTREMELY EXPRESSIVE IT'S JUST GENUINELY GOOD WRITING AND PACING. I love these characters their dynamic is so fucking mutual like idk how to describe it but it just feels equal I am SO GLAD hanjun ended up chasing yujin and it wasn;t the other way round, I love they were selfish at some point in terms of getting the one they want but when it came down to the actual chasing they were each respectful to each other somehow without being too much. BOLD AND EMBRAVENED is a phrase I kept using on so many panels of yujin when he was the one doing the chasing because if he hadn't put himself out there for hanjoon to end up wanting it just wouldn't have succeeded because hanjoon needed that extra push and I love how now you know he doesn't think of taeha, not once does he mention that 'someone he knows' now. Story writing 100000/5 romance 5/5 dialogue 1000000000/5 pacing 1000/5 characters 10000/5. Can i say I just love this author's dialogue like I literally love it so much yh. I'm so convinced I have to reread lover boy now bc I just don't remember anth, it's been 4 yrs since I finished that story, but I'm confident I'll love the characters too because every character this author writes about is complex in such a simple and realistic manner. May this author keep producing these beautiful stories.
