I'd give this a higher rating if I could. This story focuses a lot on the character's mental states and perspectives which I really appreciate. We understand why everyone is doing what they are doing, and what upset and torment they are dealing with. There isn't any cheap excitement/comedy that I noticed, and all of it has a mature and almost serene, sad, and nostalgic feeling to it at parts. It's also paced quite well, although at times I found myself trying to go through flashback/dream chapters quickly due to anticipation of what was going to happen next outside of her dreams. Overall a very good read and I'll definitely reread it again at a later date!
