Touji finds peace in solitude, which makes it difficult for him to handle crowds and socializing. He then gets intangled with a social butterfly, Yato, quite literally in the train. Unable to thank Yato, the unexpected re encounter at school then at the convenient store led to more opportunities as Yato further involved himself with Touji and the latter becomes unexpectedly comfortable with him.
