Alrightyy so i saw this on tik tok and honestly didnt care much cause of that cross dressing thing but then i saw smn say this changed their perspective and all and i was like yk what sure, so, first of all the story writing??????? wow so good i really really liked the emotions, the conflicts, resolution just like all the nuances this story has like it fr filled me with emotions and the vibe was like calm and tranquil but also sad nostalgic full of conflict but also warm like idk i just really really liked it, i also loved the landscape like the author said at the end that they really focused on the background or perspectives and stuff i loved the view art of the scenery, i also really liked yoonseung's character and the grandpa, they rlly carried the whole story and it was like wow idk i just love them so much and i love the complexity of them both and how the story revolves around them, i also loved the whole amnesia thing, loved the decivieng the granpa thing, loved the living in the lodge, i just really really enjoyed the whole story and like i said i loved the granpa and yoonseung fr they made the story what it is and fr that alone deserves the best applause, anyways, now to the average stuff, first of all mf i loved the decieving but i didnt love the cross dressing like it was better for the story but it was idk cringe at times ig but not too bad it was just like oof yk lmao, still, loved it cause it meant hakyung wouldnt be recognized, ALTHO mf i hated how he let yoonseung fall in love when he knew well enough that he was a mf man and who yoonseung was falling in love with was a woman and yes yes gender doesnt matter type shit BUT MF IT DOES cause it completely changed the perspective he can have of u mf like to me that would feel terrible i'd feel as if they were lying to me all along and that who i fell in love with wasnt even real like idk, and he still had the audacity to let him kiss him and all like cmon man thats just wrong its selfish of u to do that and if u are not gonna tell him at least dont let him kiss u or let him fall even deeper in love lmao and the audacity of this man to fall in love as well like idk it just looked like a complete lie and it was just so wrong in so many levels, even still, i really really loved the way yoonseung found out and how he ended up accepting his feelings either way saying he loved "her" i really liked it and i think there wasnt any other better way the author couldve done that reveal to yoonseung, now, the amnesia thing i really liked it i loved how it was tormenting yoonseung and how he felt so empty like he had lost smth really important to him but i liked it more knowing the accident (of both) wasnt the reason for his amnesia, he still went to go look for her and stuff but it was the mf suicide (CRAZY) that made him lose his memories, which btw thats insane mf like i didnt think he was gonna actually drive off a mfcking cliff like thats crazyyyyyy, i really liked it tho, one thing i will note tho is that at first i couldnt tell if we were talking abt the past or present lmao so im glad the author put this warm yellow/beige background color for it so we could know and defirientate the present from the past and i loved that so much cause fr it got me confused ash lmao. Now, the present, it was good yes and it got me intrigued to know how they would resolve everything and stuff (even tho the past was for some reason 10000x times more interesting lol) (also i really really LOVED how they kept putting the past and present so we as readers would know what was happening one thing at a time and idk it made the story telling way better) i liked the way they met again, i liked the regret hakyung had and how he had been wanting to see how yoonseung was doing and all thats so good, i liked the friend, i liked the friend's sister she was great like fr so interesting how she remembered jinyoung and stuff (she was also cute af lmao i loved her and how talkative she was with jinyoung) that was a good plot point and pressured into the conflict, i liked the bar setting too, i loved the brother, loved the mom thing that was so good too really emotional, loved the way yoonseugn wanted to remember, loved seeing buddy again, loved the brother thing that was so good cause like fr what right does hakyung have to be with yoonseung agian after all the compensation he got lmao loved that, loved the grandpa's video and letter, overall in the present it was good how hakyung was the only one to remember that period of time and he didnt want yoonseung to figure out he was jinyoung but also he wanted him to remember so he could hate him, loved the slow burn it was so good, love how the scenes were in moments where they were alr in love (like the first time it was so cute to see it was when they confessed and not before or in a messy setting) idk how i feel abt the present part tho like it was good and interesitng but not as interesting as the past ig, still, i did like how they fell in love agian, didnt love how yoonseung remembered (cause it wasnt too well explained), loved the diary and ring thing, and yeah idk what else to say lol, still i really liked this story it was really good, sad abt how little scenes they were but im really glad it was super focused on the story cause it was fr just so good like the author did a great job telling the story and also with the plots and conflicts and stuff, i really enjoyed reading it cause of how full of emotions it was (not necesarilly bad emotions just full of feeling like every scene had an emotion behind it and the author portayed it so well) loved the silence (smn mentioned it) like its true this story has a ton of silence in it and i think it speaks louder than words, like seeing the different scenes while theres no dialogue is so powerful, thats what i mean by emotions, it shows them, it makes u feel them, without having to say a word, its literal art. so yeah loved it, loved the story, def changed my perspective its really one of the best ive read im so glad i read it, and altho i didnt love hakyung's character as much as i shouldve (felt like he was pretty selfish and stuff but i get it and im glad the auhtor portrayed that but also wouldve liked it if at the end he was a bit more loving towards yoonseung like just loving him truly and ik he did its jsut idk maybe i think it was like loving him but not telling him the truth like that wasnt love it was selfishness cause u didnt wanna get hurt or didnt want it to end yk or how he was helping with the memories cause he wanted yoonseung to hate him just stuff like that thats not for the best for yoonseung ig its just hakyun'g own thoughts while yoonseugn was so caring and loving literally loving hakyung unconditionally while nothing else mattered not even his gender and stuff yk) (also i hated haykyung's haircut at the end lmao idk it just pmo and i think he was pretty at all sadly lol) still, idk, i loved it but wouldn't say its one of my favs, altho its really really good i feel like i should read it again to fully love it as much as i have loved other stories, but yeah 10/10, i'd give it a 4.6 or .7 :) p.s i forgot to say but yeah the piano thing and how hakyung never wanted anything cause he was always ok with not having it was so sad like thats what i mean with emotional like it fr is so well written lmao like someone said it feels like a movie and i couldnt agree more, its just so full of live but also sadness like ahh idk its just so good how the author managed to portray all that lol. Also ill give it a five to boost the rating lol, i feel like if i read it again i'll prob love it even more (maybe im just tired and thats why i didnt read it at its fullest splendour lol)
