100/5 haha
5/5 amazing! One of the BEST Mangas I've ever read!
Kurose's mom refused to read a book he was interested in. He thought the man he cared for and was his only companion, committed suicide because of him. Kurose wanted to heal him, but was abandoned. He understood the loneliness the one man experienced; the fear and anguish.
And now Shirotani, whom he cured, someone who's willing to read a book that Kurose likes, written by the man that Kurose thought was dead; the one he wanted to cure. Shirotani is willing to not only read it, but also listen to him and discuss his books! Omg... My heart! The romance!
Shirotani, a man who was very broken, lonely, and wanting warmth but hid it away. Developed a disorder because he felt filthy after his father's mistress had sex with the dad in front of Shirotani while shirotani was hiding in a closet. Shirotani always had "feelings" for his dad, but it was not romantic it was confusion (I'm sure its because he was born gay,) masturbated to them having sex and was caught by the mistress, calling him disgusting. Shirotani's dad who said he can know all about him and can read his mind just by patting his head, and because of that, shirotani developed fear of his dad finding out about his filthiness... He developed severe OCD with an emphasis in germophobia. So Kurose, who became his therapist, saw him... Saw his true self —including his "filthiness." the filthness of Shirotani being a closeted sub/masochist. He wanted to have someone to make a mess of him and Kurose wanted to be the one to do it. Kurose wanted to be loved, wanted, and cherished. He cherished and accepted all of Shirotani.
They fell in love by being the perfect ones that were practically like soul mates. Two broken people fitting together—finding healing and warm— like a puzzle.
What an epic story!
