A Trace of the Wonder
This genre of "awakeners" is a little different compared to the usual "espers". Dungeons begin to appear all over the world and with its arrival, regular civilians are awakened to combat it. Yiseon, a guy with the power to rebuild cities, witnesses his friends being turned into the undead. Hyeon, a powerful hunter, comes to him with an interesting proposition. Yiseon has no choice but to accept his offer. After hiding from the public eye after the second great dungeon, Yiseon Jeong is scouted by leader, Hyeon Yooksa, of Chord. He extends a contract with Yiseon that if he uses his restoring power during the raids, he would use his nullifying ability to help Yiseon out with his own dilemma. Reading this manhwa was such a refreshment from the usuals. I really digged the concept of the dungeon being "The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" where a restorer (aka yiseon) was needed in order to complete the raid. These monuments that no longer exist come to life from just the depiction of a drawing, had me thinking Yiseon was the master builder. This guy would do so well in architecture. (April 20. 24)
