I liked that they didn’t make the ml keep his feelings to himself for the entire book and the hint of selfishness that he showed by deciding the mc’s decisions with the other characters somestimes to make sure they wouldn’t get close. To like someone for so many years like that must’ve been so suffocating. I felt very bad for him. I liked his comment about how every time he tried to get close, mc would get distant. “ It’s like the more I try to show my feelings… the more distant he becomes”[4] :( FEELINGS The character building was SO GOOD for 6 chapters. His fear of the dark and the way he doesn’t shake with fear when the Aoi’s with him, his absent parents and Aoi accepting him and becoming his family, the parallels of him trying to take care of the mc when he falls sick just as he did for him. Planned: 2025-03-07 Started: 2025-05-16 Finished: 2025-05-17 This was very fast, not as in rushed, but fast. I was even reading it fast T T Mc asks ml out after he’s slapped in the face. Ml says yes to everyone who asks him out but is said to have never touched any of his girlfriends and breaks up with them after a week. Mc has had a crush on the ml since high school and shoots his shot to ask the ml out. He says yes. The ml doesn’t put any effort into the relationship, as seen with his short texts but it’s ok. The Mc shows up to all the ml’s part time jobs to see him and walks him home everyday. It grows on the ml and the ml finally says he’s free the next day. They go on a date.. to their Highschool soccer field to play. There, the Mc confesses he’s liked the ml since high school and that he’s wanted to play with him for so long. The ml asks and the Mc reveals that even though he was the top student in Highschool, he changed his college picks to go to the same school as the ml. Mc gets hit in the face with the soccer ball and they both go back to the ml’s place to patch up his face. There, the Mc and him talk about how pretty the ml is and then they make out and jerk off. They get much closer after that and much more affectionate. Then one day the Mc’s friends come up to him and joke that he won the bet they made at the start that whoever would date the ml gets 100 bucks. The ml is really upset upon hearing this because the Mc was the first person he ever actually loved. The ml cries and Mc apologizes with all his heart saying it’s a misunderstanding and that he wasn’t dating him for the bet. The ml believes him and they make up. Mc finds out that the ml quit all his jobs the day he said he was free after the Mc showed up to all his jobs to wait for him. They go back to the ml’s place and fuck. They hold each other. The end. I liked this because even though the bottom is technically supposed to be ripped, seeing the weight difference makes me a bit happy. It looks like skinny top x chubby bottom a bit. It was a bit hard to tell if the ml is a people pleaser. Even though this wasn’t that deep to me because of how short it was, I really, really liked the art. I also thought it was so cute how they both thought of the moment at the beginning beautifully. They both each other are so pretty. 6.34️
