Planned: 2024-02-29 Started: 2025-06-16 Finished: 2025-06-20 Even when I know the endgame, I still feel bad for the 2nd ml, the duke. I still really wanted him to end up the duke because of his reliance on the mc even though I always knew who would be endgame ): Carsen, the duke, had more chemistry and more important moments with the main character. His character was very developed and he changed throughout the series as the childhood friend with guilt hanging over him. In comparison to the prince who, I did feel bad for because he was lonely but, felt shallow when it came to their love. Carsen literally depended on mc’s powers to live while the prince just wanted someone who saw him for him. It’s interesting to think about how they can only transmigrate into characters that died as the sister transmigrated into the wolf boy’s sister who died in the woods. So Maythan actually died when Carsen made that big explosion with his mana in their childhood. WAIT NVM HELL YEAH. I'm so glad he ended up with Carsen. That shot up my rating for this story by a long shot. Usually they end up with the prince. I was literally smiling seeing the prince let Maythan go and Carsen embrace Maythan as Jinsoo in the real world. The tear drop crystal was actually so well done. I've never been this thirsty for a side story before. I can't wait!!! Thank you author for making this story. Such a nice read.
