Dream Away
Soooooo good!!! Jihan could see premonitions of what would happen in the future. This ability of course led him to Doyun, a really lovable puppy type of guy who thought that Jihan was interested in him. Fast forward, the thing that Jihan saw in his premonition of Doyun happened. But it was also due to that event that made them confess each other’s feelings. It was sunshine until they met the antagonist of the story. I forgot his name lol; don’t come at me. Now, this dude is a bit sadistic in his desire to tease would be couples or incite something. I don’t know, however I was entertained in the scene wherein the antagonist was surrounded by Jihan, Doyun, and Seohun. I laughed because I feel like the author just woke up and chose violence. Of course, Jihan, Doyun, and the antagonist became friends again because Jihan save his grandma from immediate death. And that’s all for the first one. Anw, while I do enjoy the first couple, I loved the second one. I was expecting angst tbh like maybe after one month they return to being friends yada yada then he realize that he is also in love lolol. But ofc, the author went in an unconventional and went for a somehow realistic ending. Because we have to keep in mind that while Seohun accepted his attraction to the same sex; the same cannot be said with Geunwoo. He is straight but he shows flexibility and I respect the author for that. Loved the story, the plot, and the pacing. Would have loved more afterwards story but the author compensated with that vision of the future of Jihan and Doyun. It’s a 5/5 for me and the re-readability is def there.-
The Fake Princess' OP Bunny
Quite sad about how the lack of proper translation (from chapter 42 onwards it didn't even make sense no more??) and the rushing towards the ending ruined the story that did seem interesting and promising in the first chapters. Would read it eventually again in the future in case the translation gets fixed but aside from that, this manhwa isn't really anything special sadly.
My Calypso
I feel like the story didn't really develop in the best way? Like...it didn't even get time to develop quickly . Hyun-min and Calypso fell in love wayyy too quickly that it doesn't even make sense if you re-read it. Especially if we consider the fact that Calypso was obsessed for centuries with Odysseus,,,then the relationship between Hermes and Tres??? I feel like the story was all over the place, what seemed like a good prompt got mushed up in a weird and fast paced storyline with characters that are not even close to the 'real' ones, so yea. Wouldn't mind re-reading it eventually.
The Evil Lady's Hero
[waiting for the side stories] This manhwa was a rollercoaster of emotions, if it makes sense? The first half of the manhwa (around chapter 60?) was just around their relationship (fast paced might i add) and was basically smut (not shown) with some plot thrown there to entertain the readers. I started to enjoy the story while the expedition was ending and them finding niel and the gem neon, but then i didn't understand where the monster niel went and the story shifted weirdly over to the gem found and the ending of the manhwa basically. I feel like the ending was quite rushed especially considering that they dedicated 60+ chapters for the main characters to have their love rushed time and the last 20 chapters to remembering the fact that this manhwa also has a fantasy side and that they should come up with something. Not the best isekai manhwas out there, would suggest it for the people who love romance mostly.
Park Hanhoo's Manager
️SPOILERS AHEAD️ Well-written, interesting plot, likeable characters, good character dynamics (aside from the uke's unwanted harem LMFAO) and amazing art. I enjoyed Hanhoo's personality, which is a first considering i usually don't vibe with bordeline psychos characters, but i enjoyed his character 'developement' about how he felt towards the uke and how from a toy he understood that what he felt was actually love! I also enjoyed Chanseol's persona and was about to bawl my eyes out if his original plan of dealing with August would've unfolded. I was clutching for life and ready to start a waterfall. The manhwa never got me bored especially with the lack of PDA (they literally only kissed once and was slightly shown in the side story them doing it without showing anything - which made me enjoy the story more.) A little bit disappointed about how it ended so fast and with only a single side story and i'm glad that the author felt comfortable enough to talk about the problems they ended with facing and dealing with while publishing this story. Thank you so much for pushing through author and you're amazing for posting the rest of the story even if it wasn't a hit from the start. Would reread again, defo worth it 10/10.
Primitive Boyfriend
When i started reading the manga I didn't expect it to be as wholesome as it was once i finished reading it. I enjoyed every bit of it and all the versions of the male lead were adorable in their own way, mito is a queen and the story was amazing.
Dasadanan
I think this was more of a slice of life with a side of shounen ai than a fully shounen ai themed manhwa. And i didn't really mind it lol, but seeing people pressed in the comments made me want to point that out. I liked both the main and side couple stories but i was more inclined towards the side one as it had better moments and a proper and actual development?? So it's a little bit sad to know that they didn't end together at the end EVEN THOUGH both of them have feelings for each other?? Overall a nice slow-paced read, nothing over the top or even dramatic.
Not for the Faint of Heart
I was ready to bawl my eyes out while reaching the end, expecting a sad ending but luckily the author had mercy on us, getting satisfied from just playing with our hearts. Over all, i really enjoyed the manhwa, it was amazing even though the art wasn't the best i've seen. Would re-read it and enjoy it just as the first time i did read it :)
Can't take my eyes off you
Super unsatisfying haha no wonder it has a lower rating than most shounen ais. Firstly, couple's relationship was very sudden, didn't think it was even going to happen by the end seeing as they haven't really made any progress except for the fact that Wooyeon liked Taeho. I even started to doubt if it was really shounen ai because they cramped their relationship's development in the side stories lmao because wtf is a confession, which plays a big role in shounen ais, doing in a side story? I think the author just wanted to end this quickly and resorted to a bunch of them. Secondly, their romance is seriously lacking. It's not very clear how they came to like each other but sure we'll use the love needs no reason excuse.. Their relationship's so bad to the point I think even the black haired cousin had more dynamic with Taeho than Wooyeon (big sigh) they should've just ended up together lmao they were cuter than main couple that's for sure. Thirdly, wtf happened to the curse? it just kinda disappeared, it really bugged me since that was also huge to the story, there should've at least been an explanation.. Overall lots to criticize, huge disappointment. Even for a shounen ai, this is unbelievable.. I understand if this was the author's first work, I may be too harsh but I'm just really disappointed since I got so invested in the beggining as well.
The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion
