This was really good omg. Mc1 is a fox spirit, an immortal who lived in the heavenly realm. Mc2 was his lover until mc2 was hurt on the battlefield and mc1 sacrificed his tails to keep mc2 alive. Mc2 then sacrificed thousands of years of cultivation to save mc1’s life, in which he then lost his memory. Mc1 tries colluding with the demon king and mc2’s fiancé (not actually. She wishes and mc1’s memory was screwed up so he thought they were engaged) then proceeded to “kill” mc1. Mc2 searches for him and then kills himself so he can become a mortal human and looks for him in the mortal realm. They meet and ofc mc2 is the only one to recognize and remember him, mc1 doesn’t remember him. Mc2 is just vaguely familiar to mc1. Mc2 is a former “king of acting” and famous supermodel. Mc1 became an actor who worked in mc2’s company. They go through a LOT of trouble and misunderstandings but obviously end up together. The ending was kinda iffy for me because as soon as mc2 proposes to mc1, mc1 gets lifted out of the body and goes back to heaven. It was also stated that it was the original mc1 (the body he was using) that got to live out his life with mc2 (who maybe? lost his memory of his past life). It just felt iffy to me, but they both ended up in heaven together as immortals and then the kitty that was helping mc1 throughout the story becomes mc1 and mc2’s child, which I thought was adorable. Probably could give this a 5-star but the ending was just so abrupt and iffy that I’m marking it as 4-star. If only the ending was better. Also: the art changed around chapter 83-85 and got so much better (not that it was ever bad in the first place, it just changed into a different style), which I found was weird but honestly didn’t mind it. Amnesia story. Only 6 chapters are out so far and updates are irregular. Wait for more chapters. Added: Tuesday, June 8th, 2023. Edit: this was kinda mid. I liked the concept & how they got back together pretty early on (ch15 or so) & how mc2 was smart enough to put the pieces together & even called mc1 out on their past relationship. This was annoying with the misunderstandings and secrets. Mc2’s adoptive brother was in love with him and after mc1 & mc2 broke up in the past, he tried to kill mc2 cuz he didn’t want to see mc2 suffer anymore. It led to mc2 getting amnesia and forgetting everything about mc1. Mc2’s adoptive dad is a POS. Glad Jihoo (adoptive brother) killed him. Taesung (mc2) was kinda puppy like and it was adorable. Shi-yoon (mc1) could def be cute too and I loved how he genuinely loved Taesung and investigated the accident that made Taesung lose his memories. Very minimal smut. Was looking for one with the smut being background for days but this actually had too *little* smut, surprisingly. Only like 4-5 smut scenes and half of them were in the first two chapters where they hadn’t broken up yet. This wasn’t top-tier, but it wasn’t bad either. Just kinda mid. Liked the amnesia concept tho & how they didn’t really drag it out. They were actually dating for most of the fic, which usually never happens. Woo. Read: Friday, August 1st, 2025.
