time to write my five star review bcuz this is actually one of the best historical manhwa ive read in a while. first of all the characters!!!! they're all so human especially eris, normally the isekai mc wouldnt even consider going back to their own world or would adjust way too easily but eris is so real for this. she's just trying to go back home, even if home wasnt perfect, she knows that this is not her world and not her life and theres still so much she wants to do. she's so driven and smart but at the same time she's still just human, she hesitates to kill helena and she doesnt even know if she'll still be the same afterwards, if she could possibly live with the guilt. she's scared bcuz what if death is the only thing waiting for her, what if she doesnt get to go back and what if helena just dies? but then helena is so very kind and tells her that she already decided to forgive eris for anything that she could or would do to her. she becomes her salvation and tells her to do what she needs to do. i love how the manhwa shows all the character's stories from emma, a maid to even the most despicable characters like the high priest. when we look at helena's past, we can understand her naivety. her mom taught her to be but a smiling doll since thats probably the only way she can survive as fallen nobility. she's so incredibly strong though and i hope the best for her as empress also can we talk abt ANAKIN!!!!!! omg "i love u more than my dying breath" WTF seriously this is the definition of "if u have no reason to live then let me be ur reason" like he has always wanted to know what itd feel like to be chosen and there comes eris!!!! he loves her SO SO MUCH, he never tries to change her, instead he loves her and accepts her wholly for who she is, he loves her so much that he is willing to aid her in her own death, to burn her body even and thinks of it as an honour to be able to follow her beyond death!!!!! i cannot bro i cannot, the way eris told him to stop bcuz she was afraid that she was going to want to stay in that world bcuz of her feelings for him,,, im going insane. from emma to madam thalrose to eris, anakin, helena, the witches, kintia and even the empress,, i wish them all happiness....now time to talk abt the fucking trio of men god dammit i fucking hate them wtf they're so vile and disgusting and selfish. the high priest and jason have some serious saviour complex and the crown prince has a serious superiorty complex i literallg want to gauge my eyes out every time they appear like FUCK OFF. the high priest is a fucking creep who sees his mother in eris, jason is on his high horse and doesnt listen to eris AT ALL and keeps thinking that he's gonna somehow SAVE HER LIKE BRO SAVE URSELF FIRST U FUCKFACE im so glad he got cursed by the dragon NOW ULL KNOW HOW IT FEELS FOR UR OWN WILL TO BE DISREGARDED FUCK U and finally the crown prince OMFG IF I COULD KILL U I WOULDVE KILLED U FIVE HUNDRED TIMES ALREADY???? he's literally a rapist i cannot. even after death, they cant leave eris alone and after everythings over, he acts as if he just had poor judgement and expects helena to crawl to his side LIKE U HAVE NEVER EVEN ASKED WHETHER HELENA LIKES U OR NOT U FUCKING BASTARD IM SO DONE one of my favourite scenes in this manhwa is prob when medea explains the origin of witches seriously, it rly shows in this world that men will never have to go through that kind of despair fuck anyways enough raging, this story is beautiful, very interesting and very engaging!! staying true to the plot all the way and the art is very beautiful, everytime i see eris im in shock cuz girl is gorgeous. anyways i hope the 2 of them live happily ever after like a cliche cuz they deserve it
