Who Can Define Popularity?
Koimonogatari
This is genuinely one of the best BL I have ever read, if not the best. I can't really explain why I am so infatuated with this manga, but I think it's a multitude of things. It's painfully realistic, and extremely relatable. The characters are all fully fledged and attaching. The story isn't necessarily a romance, as it focuses a lot more on friendship in a judgmental society. But even the falling in love part feels accurate. Midway through rereading it, I caught myself thinking that a relationship between the two MCs (Yuiji and Yamato), would maybe feel more unnatural than anything and that their friendship was maybe better left untouched, which is rare for me to think, as I am a professional delusional and auto gaslighter. But the story evolved in a way that quickly shoed that idea from my head. I really need to see Yamato accept his feelings and Yuiji realize that he might be bi (or anything in between). I don't think this story can end before doing that. Especially with the story building up around Yamato having to accept his feelings to be true to himself. They just go so well together brooo Anyway, 10/10, would recommend, and I need a continuation asap.
