may 4, 2024 10/10 TT w-wait im getting emotional TT ahem I've got two questions: why have i only came across this masterpiece?? why aren't people loud about this?? WHY? they'd rather hype a toxic shitty BL mangas/manhwas but not this.. oh my TT and why is there two uploaders? it messed up my reading experience! i thought that the best part to read in this kind of situation would be the last uploader/chapters and apparently, there was more chapters. so i read it and although i noticed there was numerous times of implied sexy time, there wasn't actually explicit scenes. but i still accepted it and loved the manhwa 'cause yeah, it was still so good. but then i was at chapter 57 when i remembered there was pictures of "scenes" in the profile but i dont remember ever reading familiar parts of the manhwa even though im all the way more than half of the chapters now. the story has what i was searching for after reading BL manhwas after manhwas after mangas and mangas, and so on. the story line is insane, man. how everything lined up for the desired ending blows me out. i am much more satisfied with this manhwa. im glad I'm able to read this. though pilgyeon's brother complex is really disturbing; what normal male person would even like their MALE brother, biological at that even if it's on father side. i initially felt bad 'cause he had to die that way. but his kind of love is really wrong. though i can see he really loves with all that he is, still, he shouldn't have insisted his feelings on someone who clearly doesn't want anything to do with them. however, upon knowing that he's alive and gas amnesia, i am simply glad he's able to forget the root of his wrong behaviors. and im utterly also satisfied of how he let the doll left to burn. i am not anticipating for the two brothers to stumbled upon each other again. i want them to find their happiness without hurting each other. as far the two main lead, i so love them. my man, Bongchon, although a beast in everything but a cotton at heart, made me want to have a gentle giant for myself as well. sooyeong really had that luck. i love sooyeong as well, seriously. i like his personality and also how he shows his admiration to the big guy. I'm glad the author really made them look they love each other even without saying they do. sooyeong shows and expresses that he likes it during "sexy time", which is rare as I've read so many mangas/manhwas and most of them still doesn't like even after years of relationship. ugh they're people, they feel things too. i heard men had their prostrate in there. I'm really happy for them:)

Park Hanhoo's Manager

Complete | KIM TAC | 2000 released

october 29, 2024 10/10 what i thought to be too much of an extensive read for a shounen-ai turned out to be one of my greatest read of Boys Love. around 50+ chapter, i decided to take a break reading this and hopped on to other BLs only to find most of them to be cliché and unsatisfying. deciding to come back and read this in one go is what a pat on my shoulder, 'cause im glad i did. I've always liked semes like hanhoo, who only shows affection and obsession on his loved one while coming off as rude or cold towards others. chansol, being a pure and kind soul that he is, wasn't so hard for me to fall inlove with his character as well. he's got no bitterness and cliche uke personality in him and only radiates as himself: a real character in this story, an embodiment of his own name. what i liked about their bond is how undeniably strong their chemistry is together, and how they cant seem to go without the other. especially when the August case were solved and they now had the time to focus on themselves, their relationship progressed and are open to everyone. im ecstatic to see they're both vocal to their feelings and not covering them by sexual acts. maybe 'cause this is Shounen Ai and the unreasonable smegss and rape scenes are nonexistent here so it was overall a healthy read, but it was a good take and I'd rather read yet another BL without hot scenes provided that they'll all be wholesome but ofc, not being deprived of a lil fan service here and there as exactly what this story blessed me with;) to be frank, i didnt expect this story to have a deeper and interesting plot then i thought it would. the August case was intricate and smartly-played by Calvin, and this shows how this manhwa is actually capable of; that it's not just your regular BL romance but also beyond it. im so glad i invested my time to the right manhwa, and i honestly enjoyed the story. those little scenes of hanhoo and chansol are tirelessly adorably "nakakakilig" that truly never fails to set me on my feet and saving their saved picture in my albums lol. hanhoo's so perfect and chansol's an angel

Love Sick Dog

Complete | Songhyel | 2019 released

march 14, 2025 10/10 Love Sick Dog is a remarkable BL manhwa that surpassed hundreds of books in the same category, in my almost 20 years of existence. Immaculate art and well-designed characters that each shone in their own ways, the magnificent delivery of moments where roles are interplayed in a natural way, and the genuineity of the characters' feelings and emotions resonated well in this manhwa. Their dialogues would be so deep that pulls you into the depth they're in, making you almost explicitly experience the exact pain the characters feel and communicate with them through it. The relationships weren't superficial that comes and goes, unlike most of the yaoi books I've read. It builds like how real life individuals form bonds with people and how they maintain them; those random topics, silly conversations, laughs and giggles— those seemed so real and authentic. It no doubt gives an impression that the author carefully crafted this little and little with every detail into a fine masterpiece that left readers like me feeling empty afterwards yet content of the way the story ended. It was a happy ending. Much to everyone's delight. I'm currently having a combination of post-reading-of-a-great-manhwa and pre-birthday blues. I feel silly for feeling this way but the story was so good that I became this sensitive afterwards. It drove me to wake up and be aware of the reality I am in, making me realize that I should take things seriously now, even more so that I'm about to turn two decades in a month from now. Okay, back to the story: Whilst reading this, I've never felt so intrigued of how the art and coloring details are so refined, capturing me and leaving me to appreciate its beauty in every panel drawn. The expressions, the body proportions, the reactions, the EMOTIONS— anger, sadness, shock, hollowness, pleasure (oh, i LOVE how their face contorts into honest pleasure, submitting to the delightful force coursing through their body) are impeccable. Gosh, I am in awe of how realistic the story is and is aligned with how people and situations are in real life. It made the hours I've spent lying and long-exposed to radiation still a treasuring experience. I am hooked to both of the main characters' bittersweet romance, built from brokenness and the found safe haven in their lover's arms. I love how they are loyal despite the initial confusion of their feelings towards the other, unaware of the massive impact that drives them out of their own consciousness. Love can indeed make you go beyond the boundaries you've set on yourself. What an amazing presentation of this intimate connection, and the symbol of butterfly and cocoon forever in its closed state. Yegyeum and Jooin is each other's missing piece, fitting well like they're made for each other to feel complete. Together, no matter how they attempt to deny it, they have found their solace and home; The wine to fill their empty cup, the heater to warm their lonely and freezing hearts. Oh, what acrimonious love. May I encounter more treasure like this in the future. May a kind, warm, effortful, and understanding love find me. #Yegyeum×Jooin #ILoveAMasterpieceLikeThis

April 9, 2025 9/10 ah, this is beautiful! short yet it filled my heart with undeniable warm feeling. if i could, i would have been blushing so hard all whilst reading this gem. it has been so long since I've read something that would pull such reactions from my usually stoic face when reading. right from the beginning, i already sensed that this manhwa is definitely something and interesting, and turns out it really is. i also find the dynamic aligned to my taste even though i do not really prefer older ukes. their compatibility and dynamic is palpable and i would be an insensitive fool to deny so. also my first time actually writing a feedback in a while. #OlderLikeableUke×GenuinelyAdorableSeme #UkeFellFirst!AMajorShockingFactor
