My Beloved Oppressor
An honest review so far: My beloved oppressor Disclaimer, Please be aware before reading these are just my thoughts and you are welcome to disagree with me. The theme of this webtoon so far seems to be “Ignorance is sin” While I respect the FL for not taking her life I find her demeanour strange. Do nothing or do something yet she stays in this middle ground. I don’t see the ML being redeemed, I don’t want him to be redeemed. Whilst I see many are picking sides I can not. Whilst in war there may be winners and losers in actuality there is no winner, everyone has suffered and lost and just saying sorry is not enough anymore. They are both at fault for various reasons and I don’t feel I will be able to love this webtoon or root for either one of them.
My Husband is an Antisocial Count
My husband is an antisocial count An honest review: Disclaimer, this review is based solely on my opinion, therefor you may think otherwise and are welcome to your own interpretation. The manga goes from 0-100 fast, what I mean by this is the romance was far too rushed. There’s no anticipation, there is no excitement what so ever, the counts antisocial issues and past trauma are just suddenly healed upon the entrance of the FL. There was no true internal struggle and everything was overly sugary sweet. The only redeeming quality of this story was the fact that the step sister wasn’t the FL’s enemy for once and instead her supporter. Other than that and a few semi raunchy scenes I feel like this was a rush job of a story and unless it becomes more intricate in the future I don’t feel urged to change my review.
The Saintess' Secret Night
An honest review: Disclaimer, this review is based solely on my opinion, therefor you may think otherwise and are welcome to your own interpretation. TW: mentions of rape and sexual assault. Now that you’ve seen the trigger warning you could probably stop reading. That is all this story is, constant rape. There is no storyline or plotline what so ever it is the FL constantly being taken advantage of and used by different characters all of which disappoint. There is not one redeeming quality about this story. Not a single one, so please don’t listen to the other reviews or the stars. It is truly awful. But then again, that is my opinion.
Liebling!
An Honest Review: Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal opinion. Your interpretation may differ, and that’s entirely valid. This story is, quite frankly, a chaotic mess. The narrative lacks any consistent pacing—swinging wildly between being painfully slow or jarringly fast. Themes of incest and rape are disturbingly frequent and feel entirely gratuitous, adding nothing meaningful to the plot. Worse still, these moments are never given the gravity or emotional weight they deserve. Both the characters and the readers are rushed past the trauma without any time to process it, making it feel as though these events exist purely for shock value or, more troublingly, to cater to the author’s personal kinks. The storyline itself is directionless. It constantly contradicts itself and doubles back so often that even after reading over 100 chapters, it feels like nothing has actually progressed. It’s a frustrating cycle of false starts and narrative backtracking that seems designed to artificially stretch the length rather than develop anything substantial. At some point, I found myself just hoping for it all to end—yet even after pushing through, I was left confused, unsatisfied, and deeply uncomfortable. Reading this felt like repeatedly opening the fridge, staring inside hoping to find something worthwhile, and then closing it again in disappointment—only to repeat the process until you finally give up. Even for seasoned readers of BL, I wouldn’t recommend this story. Despite the hype and numerous positive comments, once you look past the smut, you’re left with a deeply flawed and frankly unpleasant piece of storytelling.
