This is way too sweet. I give 5 stars for any story that makes me even a little emotional. This, at that last panel, actually made me tear up a bit. The delivery of it from Aiko is sweet and shows she was reading the email letter sent from Kyouko, who I believe really did start to fall for Aiko and felt it as much as Aiko did. Just how happy and genuinely in love they are makes me feel happy and bittersweet about my own lack of romance. It kind of would've been nice to see this expanded out a bit more, but it is a one shot. I can accept it.
And I really buy into that idea that they truly will make it work. That they will be more than just "The Christmas Eve Couple."
"The Forever Couple." No matter what they deal with or face, from her soon-to-be ex-husband or other family members, I truly dig that idea they will get out of it together with happiness and love. And the genuine happiness and love found in that last panel, it tells you they will make it last forever.
