I have a lot to say but what i appreciate the most is the author didnt try to solve his mental problems abruptly i like how we saw him facing it, we saw him trying to recover from it, and we saw him trying to do it for his son. most of the bl characters have mental disorders or problems that doesnt get talk much simply bcs the authors dont dwell on it but with this one, obv from the start it was part of his baggages i just really like that until the end that aspect was still there but the biggest chance is the mc was able to overcome it, slowly and in his own ways. seems like the author wanted to focus more on mc's struggles to him being able to admit those struggle to him trying to get better... there are also relapses scenes that makes more realistic. im also glad that the author ended things like that (with the mother and mc's relationship. it was beyond repairable) well, the ml was actually so in love with the mc. he's always there for him (aside from those 4yrs) At first i have a lot of things to say, the review, my impression, and all of that But now that i read it all until the end, the only thing i could remember is just 'beautiful' This series really describe just how complex human feelings and human interaction are. The difference between right and wrong decision is just as thin as it could be, not only for the ML but for everyone. The mom, the dad, ML, MC. Beautiful This series is a journey of healing, the journey of how MC willing to heal himself, the journey of his partner willing to accept all punishment and willing to care for his partner that struggle alone, willing to accept that they are wrong (for mom) which is rare nowadays. i don't know if im affected by my period hormone or what, but im crying so hard reading this like, no one deserve to be treated like this, all people deserve love, but somehow world isnt really that kind enough to give it all to us. I love this, 10/10 I feel like maybe readers weren't satisfied with the ending because of the constant anticipation of something awful happening but in the end, things got to a marginally 'doing okay, tentatively happy' place and with all the build up, that may have been a bit of a let down/felt like not much of a payoff. I'm okay with it, since really that's pretty much how life goes. And I'm firmly rooted in the 'that could've gone much worse' faction
