Hana to Akuma
Very unusual story and deceivingly lighthearted.. Not for everyone, and honestly I did not care for the main couple that finally got together (just for certain reasons). However, I admit they worked well together, and the children they had in the end made me cry more than I had ever cried over a manga. I would suggest to anyone looking for a change of pace.
Koisuru Alpha no Sodatekata
I'm usually not a huge fan of the age gap/guardian type relationship, but the couple was so sweet and non problematic that it won me over. The art style was well done, and the minor lesbian couple was super sweet to see :) . . SPOLIER ML finds out he's an omega despite being born from generations of alphas in a prestigious household. As a result, his parents reject him and he grows up resenting his older, alpha, brother. Once he is able to move out, he does, only to have his brother and brother's wife to die in a accident, leaving behind two young sons (one of which is the STEP son of his brother). The stepson is cast out by the main household, and the ML decides to take care of him, despite only being 10 years older than the child. Ultimately, the ML acknowledges his older brother cared for him, unlike his own parents, but let him go because he know the ML could never be happy if he stayed in the main household. On top of that, the child he raised never saw him as a guardian, but always loved the ML romantically and wait until he was of age to make the ML realize that. NO INCEST (blood-related) NO PEDOPHILIA, overall, the author took great lengths to make the age-gap story and legal and as comfortable (non-toxic) as possible. ... So just reread. I still really like the overall dynamic, just 2 critiques. Didn't like that child scene (even if peeping was an accident), & the amount of smut. I really wish it was reduced/taken out all together. It just feels off when you saw them as kids first
Akane-kun Destiny
Very glad it was shounen ai given the original dynamic. Made it stay more wholesome. Love the art & general dynamic, but the age gap is a bit. I wish the kid could've started pursing around uni age. Give it a little more time to hit. Besides that, generally wholesome story, just questionable dynamic
