For Better or For Worse
Completed. Dillon remembers her past life [life in a novel] and knows that if her sister Emily marries the soon to be Duke, Cedric, Emily will die in childbirth. Instead she starts getting in the way of Cedric and eventually he proposes to her (they need to ally their respective families) she marries him but tells him she won't love him (because she knows that his fated love will come into the picture in about a year) they have a cute rivalry, betting on random things, eventually they fall in love and we realize that Adeline- the "fated love" is actually Dillon. The previous life was changed with a spell that swapped their bodies and the lovers find each other regardless of what they look like. Their souls know each other. Very cute and interesting, the miscommunication made me want to yank out my hair at times though
I Found a Husband When I Picked Up the Male Lead
[51] fmc is reincarnated into a novel (she didn't finish reading) She goes into the body of a side character who is very luxurious and spends all of her father's money. Her father is hounded by loan sharks who state that they want to take her as repayment in a few months. Instead she starts selling off her items and realizes that there is a reward for the original protagonist who's still a child, and is missing. Since she read the novel, or at least the beginning of it she does know where the male protagonist is and gets him. She brings him home takes care of him, her and her family fall in love with him they take the child to the Duke, Who is offering the reward as child's uncle. Since the Duke has been Duped before he is very hesitant to believe that that child is his nephew and while they are waiting on the magical antidote that would determine Whether or not the child is legitimate, he allows the fmc and the child to stay in his mansion for a month until he gets the antidote. The woman agrees to stay there with the child and she and the Duke do not get along at first but he starts slowly falling for her and they actually defend one another without the other's knowledge. Whenever the child this shown to be his nephew he tries his best to get her to stay and even convinces her to enter a contract marriage with him. When she tells her parents that she's planning on getting married they are vehemently against it and eventually the Duke comes over to meet the parents and wins them over because they realize how much he loves their daughter. FMC still does not realize that he likes her like that and anytime she starts to read into it she convinces herself that that's not accurate Also there is a bad guy who has very similar coloring to the Duke and his family but he is obviously trying to either kill a child or destroy the duke's family. And there is a magician who was turned into a cat and accidentally locked into the cat form and cannot move from the premises.
