ch108 Now this is a 101 on the art of masterful storytelling. This is a beauty! Munryeong (or Ryeong), the blind taoist monk, saves a being and revives it back to life - this being is Paljae who looks human but isn't exactly so. Paljae has an affinity for the cold, and struggles to grow in the home where Ryeong brings him up so the two of them embark on a journey to the cold North so Paljae can thrive. Along the way, they do some demon/ghost-busting and we also discover that Ryeong and Paljae have a connection far deeper and complex than we first realise that traces back to the time in Ryeong's past that he had long forgotten.
