TW - Rape (lots of it) I'm traumatized. I appreciate that the rape that was depicted wasn't romanticized and is taken seriously. However there's so much about this story that pisses me off. Is the author just going to skim over the fact that the mc is cheating on his mate/pair? And the ml is very conflicting, he knew that the mc was being raped for however long but didn't do anything let alone console him like what kind of fucked of shit is that.

Kind of a darkish story with good art. Really interested in seeing how the rest of this story will play out bc as of right now there's a lot going on plot wise. Honestly I don't care how nice the emperor is being to the mc or the fact that he's falling in love with him I just wanna see him die after all the shit he put the mc and his own brother through. I might have to re read this just to remember how toxic he is, bc the mc honestly deserves to be with the brother. The art is amazing and the plot has a bit of substance to it so this was actually fun to read.

Truly a beautiful and tragic story. I've never read a story where the plot was so poetically tragic and was conveyed in a way that you could fully feel pity and sadness in every panel and the art makes it even better.

This is extremely good like I have no words. This is the first bl I've read that equally balances the lore/story with the romance between the mc and ml. The story by itself is truly compelling and interesting just alone but it also doesn't make it feel like a good story with yaoi on the side. It's crazy how shocked I am that it's story is this entertaining compared to other cliche bls which is saying something. Imo the romance doesn't seem drawled out bc the mc's priority is changing the fate of the world so it makes sense why he doesn't entertain the ml. I genuinely love this story and wouldn't mind reading the hundreds of chapters to come <3

ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS. At first I was confused with the story and where it was heading but I eventually understood (ig I'm just slow). The art is truly beautiful and every panel is drawn exceptionally well. I actually like the plot so far as it's simple but an interesting story and I can't wait for the future chapters! Edit: I fell in love with this story and I am absolutely bed ridden knowing that it got discontinued. This is the one and only manhua that I've read that was made to perfection. Hopefully we'll get to see some future projects from this author as it seems like they already have some

I cried. In all honestly nothing I say can give this manhwa justice. The story, characters, art, romance and symbolism was perfect to a T. Not once did I feel the need to take a break from this story and I'm glad I didn't because this is probably one of the BEST bls ever made. I'm truly in love with the story and art style, everything was paced well and the story ended in a happy and bittersweet resolution. I went into this thinking it was going to be a raunchy story with your bl typical SA, miscommunication and god awful toxic characters that somehow end up getting a 'redemption arc' but I was proven wrong. This is what bl should be and it shocks me that good stories like still are being made in the wasteland that is bl.
