aside from how goonified the female characters are (mostly at the start), its def worthy of a 5/5 to me. shit got me invested HEAVY. i need to see peter and thaddeus be happy living in the suburbs w that uncle-son shit they got going on at the end of this.

a little bland, but that might just because ive not let it marinate for long enough. anyways, mc is hot, art style is cool, characters are nice, plot is interesting—world-building especially. overall, pretty good read but nothing real special (yet, might change later)

honestly, there’s nothing real special about this story. but the more you read the more you get attached to the characters. wanting to see rein and val get a happy ending was what promoted me to binge (pretty much) all of this, and let me just say it’s WORTH IT. if you’re into sappy, golden retriever ML’s and black cat FL’s, this is definitely the story for you. i’ve gotta say, though, i wish the whole “original plotline” thing was more developed on. Like i wish terion was more included in the story, rather than just passed off to duke leon. maybe that’s just me lowkey hoping for him to be rein and val’s secret love child……………….but hey it is what it is. overall, definitely a good read if you’re looking for something with dark themes that’s also rather casual!
