Ok i know that not all MCs have to be good-natured and appealing all the time because i get that they have to be somewhat, a realistic and relatable person. But i just honsetly found her character so irritating. I’m just on chapter 80 there might be more character development but fuck she has barely changed in those 80 fucking chapers. She’s just a manipulative girl who puts up a facade to make people like her while badmouthing them on the inside. And i get why, those male characters aren’t much better sometimes, but can you really blame those brothers for being born into this male dominated society? I find it mildly irritating how they try their best to show their genuine love for her and you see the MC’s inner monologue saying “what an idiot” or something similr.
And not all isekai protagonists have to be talented or useful but she barely does fuck-all except just go with the flow of everyone else’s whims. What happened with wanting to change the mysoginistic society she’s in? Except for the few times shes stated in her head “I have to do something about this!” She hasn’t done anything to progress this goal. Instead she still bows and tries to appeal to the men with her girlish attitude. Ok, she doesnt have the ‘power’ to change anything for good yet. But even the smaller events where she could stand up for hersef without incurring a death penalty is a nice step up from meekishly not saying anything at all. At those moments i find myself clenching my heart and screaming in my head “don’t just stand there and say yes to everything!!!! ” (part where Jinsu commands her not to touch another man and she just meekly says yes and continues to blame the other party if she cant abide by this rule. Like... what :,,,,) ?? Her character ‘development’ (or lack thereof) infuriates me :,D I really hope her character goes through some major polishing and not just progress towards her gaining magic powers. i’m sorry for going on about this rant i just couldnt keep it in :,D

Ch109- Your friends literally got blasted by a fire breathing dragon and all you care about is Jinsu and yourself who didn’t get scratched cos your friends protected you. EVEN FrEESIA asked if you were OKAY even after she was one of the people who fell protecting you. Mc can’t even spare the breath to make sure her friends are ok this is pure literal bullshit fuck this sanghee at this point honestly.
