I love Shikke's stories so much and I was afraid this one would not have a good, believable flow (well, as much as it can be believable in yaoiland), but Atsushi was such a good adult, kind and level-headed and against taking advantage of Souta's feelings and making a mess of both their loneliness and despair. One is recently divorced and unable to move on, practically living with his ex-wife's ghost in the house, while the other is scarred by his coming out and throwing himself at whoever gives him scraps of kindness and acceptance (and appearing a little deranged more than once). I loved that Kume-kun reconciles with his dad, who loves him and wants him in his life, and that his dad also meets Atsushi some years down the line and they are all happy and fulfilled. Also, love that seme looks fluffy and feminine and we get both their perspectives in separate chapters.
