Some stories can be “overdone”, but as long as they are well written and entertaining it doesn’t matter... this is not one of those times.
Honestly was kinda fun to read at first, but should’ve ended after the festival in her home town with some conclusion chapters. Instead it keeps going on it’s already thin plot and bland characters and turns into some company drama thing?
Characters are super one dimensional, especially the love interest who boils down to: I love MC. He gives us a very vague backstory about how he went through a hard time and Mc helped, but it doesn’t really go in depth about any of it. This is kinda the problem with the whole story as a microcosm.
Also MC gets makeover, “turns pretty”, and then immediately takes a shower and somehow still looks like she’s wearing makeup?? She looked fine before, and actually rather cute, but people in this story go on a god damn tirade of how ugly she is, which gets EXTREMELY TIRING.
