Galge no Sekai de Shinyuu ♂ ga Ore o Sukida to Iidashite!?

Complete | Fujitobi | 2020 released

Synopsis: Momose Aoi (MC) and his childhood best friend, Okamoto Ritsuki (ML), both get transported into a dating simulator, in which Aoi must win over one of the love interests to exit the game. Unfortunately for Aoi, he is a dense guy with zero charisma. Also unfortunately for Aoi, he finds out that Ritsuki has been in love with him since forever. Review: This is a silly, comedic and light-hearted manga. I find myself coming back to reread it often. Aoi is a dense yet entertaining protagonist, while Ritsuki is the type of cool yet loving romantic interest who won't let his crush be stolen by someone else. The comedy ramps up when Ritsuki decides that he'd rather sabotage Aoi's digital love life than escape the game. I wish that the story has more sabotaging hijinks, but alas, the story resolves itself too soon.

Necromancer Survival

Ongoing | 키마님 | 2000 released

Synopsis: A weak necromancer named Choi Lee-kyung (MC) lucks out and makes a contract with the famous deceased guild-master, Seo Dawon (ML). In exchange for Dawon's protection, Lee-kyung must help him revive his fallen guild members and exact revenge on those who murdered him. Review: The dynamic is like this: Lee-kyung is a regular guy out of his depth and Dawon is the usual overpowered badass, with a teasing streak and a tendency to look down on weaklings. Although Lee-kyung quickly develops a crush on the handsome dead guild-master, it's Seo Dawon who becomes overly attached to his new emotional support necromancer master very fast. There's also a strong, interesting revenge plot; the cast grows with every guild member that Lee-kyung resurrects, and shrinks with every successful revenge. For those who are interested, you can also read the novel that this manhwa is adapted from; you'll find that there's a lot more content that the manhwa has cut.
