mc was better off with the 2nd ML. 1st ML became a cop after his brother died due to bullying in the military ayer they found out he was gay and even actively tried to arrest a side character for being gay bc it’s illegal for drama reasons in this manga and even though ML himself IS ALSO GAY. sorry but i genuinely think this is the first time i’ve ever truly felt a manhwa was written by two straight women with like 0 experience or knowledge on any real-life lgbtq struggles. like genuinely this manhwa handled any internalized homophobia so poorly it just makes the ML look like a dick instead of sympathetic towards his struggle to accept himself, since it gets resolved in like 5 panels at the very end. MC is also confused for 98% of the manhwa and it felt like he was gonna end up with his best friend, who was CLEARLY a much better option and who he even slept with more than once it was tilting towards ending that way if the creators didn’t shoot themselves in the foot by making ML be on the cover instead of him and 2nd ML so they could go with the pairing they gave more substance to.
TLDR: first time i’ve felt 2nd ML is genuinely the better option in 5yrs since main couple had 0 chemistry and ML can barely express himself or his thoughts at All. 0/10 absolutely butchered story and art too beautiful for something so crap.
