I found Nishino to be all over the place with his feelings. Maki's feelings too seemed to pop up out of nowhere in the first chapter, because of how much was skipped. The angst and nosy exes and misunderstandings, they really milked that angle for all it's worth- and then some. I didn't hate it, of course. But it wasn't the best, either. Also, give Nishino some wiggle room, ffs! This is kind of a lot to be dumped on him all at once! 4.2
