I was really hoping that the friend would remain supporting and protective (in a nice and contained way) because I love those kind of characters and they're usually good-looking but he looked more villainous, but he just HAD to turn out to be manipulative and toxic to match his appearance . I really wanted to root for their friendship at first but nope

It's funny cause it's fiction but I'd quit day 1 if this was real life
