Dreadful Night
last read - chapter 54. this is actually insane. This is so well written the plot twist are phenomenal. I did not see any of this coming. i thought doha was going to be the murderer the entire time, but it turns out that bada was an NPC?! WHAT?!?!??! IM SO SHOCKED. the fact that they all turned off their own cassette tapes is so sad. This was so well done and I cannot wait for more.
Radio Storm
this was a phenomenal read. I loved every single second of this. The plot line is very well done. Both of the leads were very endearing. I really enjoyed that. We didn’t fully know what was truly going on because there was bias in the perspective that we were observing. I also really enjoyed the dynamic between the two main characters. I also am really satisfied that it was a happy ending because if it was a sad ending, I think I would not have enjoyed this read as much. I feel like this really had a way to entice me to keep reading. Every chapter had a purpose. It never felt like anything was dragging. Ultimately, this was phenomenally done and I have literally no complaints. I was worried going into this that I wouldn’t like the lack of color. But I think that when the color was important, it’s standing out, almost added emphasis to its importance. Ultimately, I just really enjoyed it.
Dead man Switch
this was so good for so many reasons. the plot started off like your standard zombie storyline, but you slowly start to realize that something feels… off. the main character meets a man who somehow knows everything about him, even though the main character has never seen him before. this guy is covered in scars that look like they should’ve killed him, yet he’s just calmly waiting—and he’s surprised the main character even made it this far. the scarred guy ends up taking the main character under his wing and is super protective of him, but it doesn’t really seem like he likes him all that much. as the story goes on, you find out there’s way more happening beneath the surface. they drop hints, and i thought the story did a great job of making things gradually click into place. even when it becomes a bit obvious to the reader what’s going on, the suspense still builds in a way that makes the final reveal feel totally worth it. this isn’t the first time i’ve read a story like this—it’s a really solid archetype in this kind of genre, and i always love it. the art was super well done, and i really liked the characters. they weren’t flat or boring; you could tell they had depth and reasons behind their actions. some were redeemable, some weren’t, and i love when stories let characters exist in that kind of gray area. overall, i really enjoyed this read and i’m so glad i gave it a shot.
Believe My Sign
Black Mirror
this was so good I could not predict the plot at all. I think that it was really well done. I think the art was really well done the graphics were definitely scary. You genuinely had no idea what was going on the entire time and I think that made it so much better the ending was very fulfilling and my only complaint is that we didn’t get to see more of their happy moments after everything had come to a conclusion I just really enjoyed it. I just think it’s really well done and really, really really unique.
