I have issues with the portrayal of doctor's word choices. It sounds very irresponsible to promise something especially when someone's life is on the line. Also, it's so stressful how it's just toxic to be in the hospitals in this webtoon. Encouraging a competitive atmosphere to strengthen the interns, residents, doctors mentally is different from the toxicity of verbal and mental abuse I just read. But it's also amusing how they diss US' healthcare or at least the hospital used here.
oh, and i really think sangmin is literally asking for help with the amount of times he warned or hinted others about his crime. i was already thinking that he just wanted to die thru his friend. a twisted portrayal of his desire to be stopped and desire to be remembered by Jinhyun. Coz, i know he will never be justified... it's just that sangmin is broken by his father... and i'm still pissed by the redundancy of "cheer up" as if that's supposed to be Jinhyun being a 'friend'. What he did for Hwaemi, listening to her and offering his time... romance aside, that would have made him a friend to Sangmin. He's just as self-absorbed as his past, except he has been blessed by God and by his experience with failure.
