This was cute, but in a green flag that's almost beige kind of way It had shades of depth in Ruri's classical violin career (?) but it doesn't really seem to know how serious to take it. There's no exploration of how his family feels about him quitting music, or how it affected his plans for the future, or what his plans even were before he quit. Being a symphony violinist is just such a specific skill that I would've liked to see it addressed in more detail.
Other than that, the romance just kind of happened smoothly, which is fine I suppose. Just not very exciting.
