So, apparently Noah fell in love with River and was supposed to propose to her to become his real wife but something happened (I believe the author meant this about Winter’s cancer) and River left him to Tuscany and there she met Grey, a painter who adores her. Grey is someone opposite to Noah in terms of status he did not even graduate high school. They had something special going on but Noah to the picture and River found out that Grey is not someone she thought who he is. Atp, it is still not clear who the ML is according to the author, she even mentioned River might not end up with either of the two men, but she guaranteed of them will get a happy ending.
