Holy fuck I hated every second if this. But I had to know how it ended. It was so brutal, so depressing and still somehow showed an abusive relationship in a realistic light. The desperate way the characters cling to each other is both disturbing and deeply saddening. At several points I could almost feel bad for the characters but their actions made them irredeemable.
