: I see the author’s intent to show the consequences of the tyrant father trope. So many times the plot of these stories is “he’s a monster but it’s ok because he dotes on his daughter,” but is that ok? These men abuse their power and hurt people, including their kids. I like the decision to follow a “side-character”. I’m also exhausted watching the female lead deal with these men. Rooting for her!
