I feel like if they can't respect your preferences such as yaoi, then they shouldn't be considered friends. However, if they want to try and accept this part of you then you won't need to find new friends ! You can always make new friends who do share your interests while maintaining your old ones. 2 options of that one 1.If they tried to separate from you because you read yaoi.. Then find new ones.. 2.If they still want to keep their friendship with you.. Then keep it..
