Hi there! So I was wondering if y’all could help me?

So, my friend has been really into discord and genshin. This is totally fine and all, I have no problems as long as she enjoys it, but she’s starting to distance herself. At first, it was barely noticeable. She would make her texts shorter and blunter, and she would become a little more emotionally volatile.

Fast forward a couple weeks, she starts adopting personalities from her online friends. She started using different emojis and she started texting differently. She would say stuff she wouldn’t usually say, and she started caring less. Talking to her was beginning to feel like I was traversing a never-ending minefield, every subject was potentially sensitive. I’ve tried talking to her about it, but to no avail.

Now, it’s like I’m friends with a stranger. I don’t even know who I’m talking to anymore. She has like over thirty different personalities, all a variation of her discord friends. She has started ignoring me, and when she isn’t, she’s calling me weird names and saying offensive stuff. She’s being completely flippant towards me. When I told her that I had finally made an online friend, she said to me “Okay. That’s not that great. I have over 200.” Even bringing up anything remotely not about her or her things, she either gets really mad at me or ghosts me for a week.

I honestly don’t know what to do anymore, and since y’all are online all the time and maybe have dealt with this too, could you help?
