When I was stressed out in middle school, I wanted to distract myself so I pierced my ears using a safety pin. It hurt like hell. I also had to disinfect it but all I had was alcohol, bad choice huhuhu. I stopped after that one ear and didn't touch the other ear. The hole didn't close for some reason and my mom saw it so she asked if I wanted to ge......   reply

I have both nostrils pierced and my septum! The longer I anticipated it, the more it hurt it seems. The first nostril and the septum piercings were probably around a 2/10 since I got them done without planning or thinking too much about it, but my other nostril was maybe a 4 since I was waiting to get it done. They were all pretty harmless though!!......   2 reply

Well, depends where, and who's piercing you, and the methods they use. Piercing guns hurt like a mother fucker, i pushed a sewing needle through my ear and it hurt less than that shit (dont recommend). Then i went to a prefessional to pierce my septum and man it was a small pinch and a sting no blood at all, he used a special needle that was inte......   reply

(Saving this because I want piercings and want to know what to expect ) I was 2 days old when I got my ears pierced so I have no idea what the pain was but from what I've heard soft bits of your body are easy, cartilage hurts like fuck... also your clit is supposedly the worst thing out there..."worse than child birth"   1 reply

I have 9 in my ears + nose and belly button piercings. my tolerance towards pain is -999 (like, really), but it doesn't hurt at all! still, i guess it depends on the place and how skilled the piercer is, so you should choose a shop with good feedbacks. it's definitely worth it, i became more confident in my body since I have them.   3 reply

I've only ever had my ear lobes pierced. I had both done at once to get it over with faster. It was pretty much 30 seconds of feeling like somebody hit my lobes with a small hammer. After that it still hurt a little for the next few hours but it's the type of residual pain you get when you stub your toe so it was easy to ignore.   reply

I have quite a few. It hurts a little getting it pierced, and will throb for a bit after that. Apart from having uncomfortable sleep for a few days afterwards, everything will be all good.   reply

I have a few piercings. - 3 in each lobe - Right helix - Right industrial - Right tragus - Right nose - Belly button - Tongue I have no clue how to rank in terms of pain. But I'll say tragus since I just did it in February and I'm still trying to get use to it. I couldn't use my airpods comfortably for a while that was the biggest down side.   reply

I’ve had my nose pierced for a year now and it definitely was a bit of a bumpy road in the beginning. About 6 months in it had gotten severely irritated and formed a huge keloid which scared the hell out of me. What I did managed to clear up any/all irritation in under a week and I’m now totally bump free. All you need is warm/hot water and sea......   reply
