I believe hand sanitizer would be okay, but it's not advisable to pierce at home as infection is possible. Wear gloves or at least make sure your hands are clean when doing this. If it's not your ears you're piercing I recommend not doing it at all. When I was in HS 3 girls pierced their belly buttons and all 3 got hellacious infections from it.   1 reply

Its not advised to pierce your ears if you have no experience because of ear infections but yeah using hand sanitizer should be okay. Rubbing alcohol is easier but honestly anything to disinfect ears works.   2 reply

I have my septum pierced, 2 helix piercings and 6 lobe piercings! i can say that they really didn't hurt. Though like i cannot stress enough the importance of going to a good piercer, i got my septum done by (i did not know at the time) a newbie and she fucked up piercing it twice before she finally got it right on the third time. I get an update every other day or so. I don't actively follow many manga tbh. I don't like on-going stuff so I avoid it most of the time. I can't handle cliffhangers and the enjoyment would go out the window if I had to read 30 pages of a manga once a month?? I couldn't get into it.   reply
