Once my divorced father said to me and my sister that no matter how much you apply makeup like how your mother used to you wouldn't become pretty just like how she wasn't able to....I really wanna tell him that how much his words hurt me but he just treats us like we are just his kids whom he can say anything to...but I am also a human with a heart......   reply

Not exactly said, but I still remember this one from time to time. When I fell down the stairs with the vacuum cleaner, they yelled at me for dropping a vacuum cleaner. They never once checked on me.
